01
The Tanzania-specific answer
To withdraw from 1Win to mobile money in Tanzania, first open the Withdraw section inside your own logged-in account. Use a wallet only when it is offered there for that account and currency. Enter the requested wallet details, complete any verification displayed by the operator, review the current limits and charges, submit once, and save the resulting withdrawal reference.
That answer is deliberately conditional. Public payment pages and third-party reviews can show a mobile-money logo without proving it is currently enabled for a Tanzania withdrawal. A logo may describe deposits, a different country, a different legal entity or an old cashier configuration. Even two Tanzania users can see different routes because of account history, verification status, balance type or payment-processor availability.
The local names a user is likely to recognise are Vodacom M-Pesa, Airtel Money, Mixx by Yas and HaloPesa. The Bank of Tanzania confirms the corresponding electronic-money institutions in its national payment-system reporting. That proves the wallets are regulated Tanzania payment services; it does not prove that 1Win supports all four at all times.
Use this page as a decision guide, and treat the authenticated cashier as the definitive menu for the transaction you are about to make.
Before entering a number, record what the cashier calls the method and which masked destination it displays. Tanzania phone numbers can be written with a local 0 prefix or the +255 country code, but the withdrawal form decides the accepted format; do not improvise a conversion after submission. Also note the timestamp in East Africa Time and the exact operator status. Those small details let support distinguish a request that never left 1Win from a transfer that a named mobile-money provider should already be able to trace.
02
Before opening the cashier: a 60-second safety check
Start from a bookmark or a domain you have independently verified. Do not follow a withdrawal link sent by a Telegram “agent,” a social-media comment or an unsolicited WhatsApp account. Confirm that the legal and licence information shown on the site matches the Gaming Board of Tanzania’s register. At the date checked, the Board’s online sports-betting register lists Interactive Sports Entertainment Company Limited with the product name 1Win.
Check that you can access the same account in which the bet was settled. Note the registered phone number and email, but never post them publicly. Review the cash or withdrawable balance separately from a headline total that may include bonus funds, open bets or unsettled returns.
Finally, make sure the mobile-money SIM and wallet are under your control. A number that was recently replaced, re-registered, ported or transferred can create a name or access issue. Use your own details unless the cashier explicitly permits a different beneficiary and support confirms that policy in writing. Never borrow a stranger’s wallet to bypass verification.
This check prevents the most expensive category of error: sending sensitive information or money to an impersonator before a legitimate withdrawal request even exists.
03
Step-by-step mobile-money withdrawal
Button names can differ between web and app versions. The underlying evidence should be the same: one recorded request, one destination and one traceable status history.
- Sign in to the verified 1Win account.
- Open Cashier, Wallet or the equivalent account section, then choose Withdraw rather than Deposit.
- Inspect the methods displayed for your account. Select a Tanzania mobile-money option only if it appears on that screen.
- Read the live minimum, maximum, fee, currency and any processing estimate before typing an amount.
- Enter the wallet number in the exact format requested. Check the country code, leading zero and last digits twice.
- Confirm the wallet holder details if the interface shows them. Resolve a mismatch before submitting.
- Complete only the verification requested through the secure account flow. Upload documents in the official channel, not to a person in chat.
- Review the withdrawal summary. Confirm the amount, method, fee, tax line if shown and expected net amount.
- Submit once. Save the withdrawal ID, exact timestamp and screenshot of the confirmation.
- Monitor the cashier status and your wallet statement. Do not create multiple replacement requests while the first is still active.

Open the sports product without forcing a new registration. If you already have an account, sign in and compare the withdrawal options before entering wallet details.
04
M-Pesa: what can and cannot be verified
M-Pesa Limited is listed by the Bank of Tanzania as a licensed electronic-money institution. Vodacom’s official M-Pesa FAQ explains how customers can review their account and seek help for wallet transactions. It gives Vodacom customer care number 100 and describes a self-reversal path for an M-Pesa transfer sent to the wrong recipient.
Those facts help after a transaction reaches the M-Pesa network. They do not prove that M-Pesa is currently available as a 1Win withdrawal option, and a wallet reversal feature is not a way to cancel or accelerate a pending 1Win payout.
If M-Pesa appears in the logged-in withdrawal cashier, check the destination number carefully and save the operator request. When 1Win marks the payout completed, look for the M-Pesa confirmation SMS and updated statement. If neither appears, ask 1Win for the transfer reference, sending institution or processor, completion timestamp and destination’s last digits. Then contact Vodacom through the official channel and ask whether that reference can be traced.
If 1Win still shows pending, M-Pesa customer care may have no transaction to find. The operator remains the correct first contact at that stage.
05
Airtel Money: use the transaction ID, not a screenshot alone
Airtel Money Tanzania Limited also appears in the Bank of Tanzania’s licensed electronic-money institution list. Airtel’s official terms say a successful wallet transaction is accompanied by a confirmation SMS containing a unique transaction ID and updated balance. They also describe access to transaction reports and state that fees and charges are published or displayed.
For a withdrawal route visible in 1Win, that unique wallet record is valuable. Save the original 1Win request ID first. After an operator-completed status, save the Airtel Money SMS and transaction ID if received. If the credit is missing, obtain 1Win’s payout reference before calling Airtel Money support. This allows both sides to refer to a concrete transaction rather than two unrelated screenshots.
Airtel documentation tells users never to disclose their PIN, including to customer care. Follow the same rule for an OTP or account password. A real support investigation can use a transaction ID and security questions; it does not require the customer to hand over control of the wallet.
An Airtel FAQ may give a time threshold for a missing wallet confirmation message, but that threshold concerns Airtel wallet processing. It must not be advertised as 1Win’s withdrawal time.
06
Mixx by Yas and the former Tigo Pesa name
Tanzania users may still search for “Tigo Pesa withdrawal,” while current consumer materials use Mixx by Yas. The Bank of Tanzania’s 2025 report lists HONORA Tanzania Mobile Solutions under the trading name Tigo Pesa, and Yas’s own rebrand information explains that the fintech service continued as Mixx by Yas. The difference is a naming transition, not evidence of two separate wallet balances.
Mixx by Yas’s official terms describe statements, mini-statements, transaction inquiry and reversal features. They state that applicable fees should be disclosed before the service and that limits can be set and published from time to time. These are strong reasons not to copy a fixed fee or ceiling from an old article.
If the 1Win cashier shows “Tigo Pesa,” “Mixx,” “Mixx by Yas” or a related provider label, confirm with support which current wallet network and number format it means before submitting. Save exactly how the method was labelled on the date of the request.
Mixx states that it will not ask a customer to reveal a PIN. Use the official Yas/Mixx support channel or shop for a wallet-side trace, and provide a transaction reference—not the PIN.
07
HaloPesa: statement and inquiry tools
Viettel Ecommerce, trading as HaloPesa, is included in the Bank of Tanzania list. HaloPesa’s official service information describes a mini-statement, transaction inquiry and self-reversal among its account tools. Its published channels include customer-care number 100, email halopesa@halotel.co.tz and WhatsApp 0623 100100.
These tools can confirm whether a transfer actually credited the HaloPesa wallet. They cannot create a payout that 1Win has not yet released. The same two-reference discipline applies: keep the 1Win withdrawal ID, then obtain the payment reference if the operator says the request completed.
Use the current official HaloPesa fee schedule and account limits rather than a figure copied into this article. Wallet fees and thresholds can change, while an individual gaming cashier may impose a different minimum or maximum at its own layer.
If a supposed HaloPesa agent asks for a PIN, OTP, remote-access app or payment to investigate the transaction, stop. Contact the provider through a channel published on its official site.
ONE CLEAN REQUEST
Match the details, save the reference, then let the status update.
Avoid duplicate withdrawals or a second deposit while an earlier request is still being reviewed.
08
Deposit availability does not guarantee withdrawal availability
One of the most common errors is to see a wallet in the Deposit tab and assume the same button must exist under Withdraw. Payment routes are directional. A processor may support collection from a wallet without supporting payouts to it, or the operator may require a prior method, bank route or identity review for withdrawal.
Always switch explicitly to Withdraw before drawing a conclusion. If the preferred wallet is not shown, do not make a small deposit through it hoping to “activate” the withdrawal route. That adds money and can create a new payment-method association without guaranteeing anything.
Ask official support for the withdrawal methods currently enabled for the account and currency. Request the answer in writing and save it. If support suggests a different route, ask whether it requires verification, whether the beneficiary name must match, and what live limits or fees will appear before confirmation.
A high-quality guide should resist the urge to promise “all Tanzania methods supported.” The useful answer is how to identify the method the operator is actually offering now.
09
Names, phone numbers and verification
Mobile-money and gaming accounts are both identity-sensitive. A mismatch can arise from spelling, order of names, initials, an old SIM registration, a company-owned line or a number belonging to a relative. The exact 1Win rule must be read from the current account terms or a written support response; it should not be invented by a guide.
Before submitting, compare the account profile with the wallet registration. If the cashier displays a recipient name, check it. Do not edit identity information merely to force a match. If a legitimate name changed, ask what evidence is accepted and upload it only through the official secure flow.
Verification may request an identity document, selfie or proof of payment ownership. Check that the request is visible in the account and that the upload destination is the verified operator domain. Ask which document is required, what failed and whether a less sensitive alternative is accepted. Never send a full ID in a public group.
No legitimate verification requires a new deposit, a wallet PIN, an OTP or a payment to an individual “KYC officer.”
10
Read the live limits, fees and timing before confirming
There is no responsible way to publish one permanent “1Win Tanzania mobile-money limit” for every account. The operator can vary minimums, maximums and routing by method; a wallet provider publishes its own limits; and verification tier, balance currency or transaction history may matter. The numbers shown immediately before confirmation are the relevant ones.
Take a screenshot of the summary containing the method, requested amount, fee and estimate. If a fee is not disclosed, ask whether the requested amount and expected received amount differ. Do not confuse the statutory winnings-tax deduction on bet settlement with a wallet transfer fee at withdrawal.
Timing also has layers. “Operator review,” “sent to payment provider,” and “wallet credited” are not the same event. A provider may process an ordinary wallet transfer quickly, but that says nothing about how long an operator takes to approve a gaming withdrawal. Use the estimate attached to the actual request, then escalate after that stated window passes.
Avoid repeated cancellations. Each replacement can restart review and make the audit trail harder to follow.
11
The four-stage status map
A withdrawal moves through systems that often expose only a few labels:
“Rejected,” “returned,” “cancelled” and “failed” need a reason code or written explanation. A returned request may restore funds to the gaming balance; verify the ledger before trying again.
Build the timeline with exact timestamps and time zone. Do not rely on “yesterday” in a complaint, and do not let support close a ticket with only “wait” after the displayed estimate has passed. Ask for the current stage, owner and reference.
- Submitted: 1Win has created the request and should assign an ID.
- Pending or processing: the operator or its payment partner is reviewing or preparing it. The wallet provider may have nothing to trace yet.
- Approved or sent: the request may have left operator review, but the label alone may not prove final wallet settlement. Ask what the status means in that cashier.
- Completed: the operator says the payout was executed. At this point, obtain the external reference, processor/provider and destination digits if the wallet still shows nothing.
READY TO USE THE CASHIER?
Use the account route, then check the live values.
Availability, limits and processing information are the values shown by 1win for your session; this guide does not invent them.
12
If 1Win says pending
When the request remains pending, first compare its age with the estimate shown at submission. Check the notification centre and registered email for a verification request. Confirm that the request has not been cancelled and that the balance has not returned.
If the stated window has passed, contact 1Win once with a compact evidence set: account ID, withdrawal ID, amount, method, timestamp and screenshot. Ask whether the request is awaiting operator review, document verification or payment-provider handoff, and ask what specific action is required from you.
Do not contact the mobile-money provider and claim a missing transfer unless the operator has actually supplied an external transfer reference. Do not submit a second withdrawal, open a second account, edit identity information or make another deposit. None of those actions resolves the pending request.
Keep every ticket number and written deadline. If the operator does not resolve the complaint, Tanzania’s Internet Gaming Regulations provide a formal complaint and Gaming Board escalation process described in the withdrawal-problems guide.
13
If 1Win says completed but the wallet is empty
First refresh the wallet through its official app, USSD or statement feature rather than relying only on one delayed SMS. Check the number’s last digits, current balance and transaction history for the completion date. Save a statement or screenshot with unrelated transactions and sensitive information masked.
Then ask 1Win for:
With that information, contact M-Pesa, Airtel Money, Mixx by Yas or HaloPesa through the provider’s official channel. Ask it to trace the reference. If the provider cannot find it, obtain a case number or written response and return that evidence to 1Win.
Do not reverse an earlier deposit as a substitute for tracing the payout. A deposit and withdrawal are separate transactions; reversing the wrong one can create a new dispute.
- the payout or processor transaction reference;
- the sending payment provider;
- exact completion date and time;
- amount and currency sent;
- destination wallet network and masked number;
- whether the transfer was returned after completion.
14
Tax and the amount that should reach the wallet
From 1 July 2026, Tanzania’s statutory rate on sports-betting winnings is 15%. The licensed operator is the withholding agent. Depending on how the platform records settlement, the tax may already be reflected before the amount becomes withdrawable. The mobile-money withdrawal itself should not trigger a stranger to collect “TRA tax” through a private number.
Reconcile three different figures: the gross or taxable winning shown in the betting ledger, the tax withheld, and the withdrawable or requested amount. Then account separately for a cashier fee if one is displayed. The wallet credit should be compared with the operator’s promised net sent amount, not automatically with the original potential return.
If support demands a separate tax transfer, ask for the legal entity, statutory basis and official invoice through the secure account channel. Do not pay an agent. The normal legal model is withholding by the licensee.
The full rate history and the difference between player withholding and operator GGR tax are covered on the Tanzania betting-tax page.
15
Security: stop when anyone asks for these secrets
Never share a mobile-money PIN, one-time code, gaming password or email password. Do not install a remote-control or screen-sharing app for “withdrawal help.” Do not approve a wallet prompt you did not initiate. A fraudster watching the screen can capture codes even when you do not speak them aloud.
Be suspicious of:
Official provider materials consistently warn customers not to disclose their PIN. If you already shared a credential, change or block it through the official provider immediately and preserve the scam conversation.
- a request to deposit again to unlock, verify, raise a limit or pay tax;
- a “support” account contacting you first from an unlisted number;
- payment to a personal wallet or cryptocurrency address;
- pressure to act immediately because winnings will disappear;
- a request for the full front and back of an ID in an open chat;
- a link whose domain differs by one letter from the known site.
16
The evidence file that gets a useful answer
A complete first message is more effective than ten messages saying “where is my money?” Save the account/player ID, registered contact channel, withdrawal ID, amount, currency, selected method, request time and every status-change time. Include the displayed fee, limit and estimate from submission.
For the wallet side, record the provider, masked number, relevant statement period, confirmation SMS and transaction ID if one exists. For a completed status, add the operator’s payout reference. Include support ticket IDs, email headers, chat transcript and any verification request.
Arrange everything chronologically and state the remedy: “trace and credit the payout,” “return it to my gaming balance,” or “explain the written rejection reason.” Mask full IDs, balances unrelated to the case and other people’s numbers.
This file is also what the Gaming Board’s complaint form anticipates: it asks for contact information, the mobile number used, respondent, ticket or bet-slip number, complaint details and an evidence attachment.
17
Escalation route in Tanzania
Complain to the operator first through the free official mechanism. The Gaming (Internet Gaming) Regulations 2022 require the licensee to investigate a complaint and communicate its decision within 14 days. Ask for a written decision, not only a disappearing live-chat message.
If aggrieved by the operator’s decision, a player may complain to the Gaming Board within 14 days from the date of that decision. The Board publishes an online form and contact details. Submit the timeline, operator decision, withdrawal and payment references, wallet trace response and requested remedy.
The Board is a dispute route, not an instant-payment button. Its ability to decide the case depends on a clear record. Regulation 62 says the Board shall determine a referred dispute within 30 days after it first receives the dispute and inform both parties.
If the main issue is harm from betting rather than transaction tracing, stop depositing and use responsible-gaming controls. A payout problem is never a reason to chase losses.
18
A safer conversion path after the withdrawal is resolved
Payment help should resolve the user’s money question before promoting another bet. The appropriate path is: verify the method, document the request, receive or recover the funds, and only then decide independently whether to use the platform again.
If you choose to continue, compare the legal operator identity displayed at the destination with the current GBT register, read the live withdrawal conditions before depositing, use a wallet you control and set a hard entertainment budget. This guide has verified the registered sports-betting operator name, not every redirecting domain or cashier method. Never assume a successful deposit guarantees the same payout route.
The Gaming Board describes gambling as leisure rather than work or income. Do not use rent, food, school fees or borrowed money. Do not try to recover a fee, tax or delay by increasing the next stake.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Can I withdraw from 1Win to M-Pesa in Tanzania?
You can use M-Pesa only if it appears in the logged-in 1Win Withdraw menu for your account. A public logo or a Deposit option is not enough. Review the live limit, fee and verification requirements before confirming.
Does 1Win support Airtel Money withdrawals?
Availability must be checked in your authenticated cashier. If Airtel Money is shown, save both the 1Win request ID and, after payout, the Airtel transaction ID. Never disclose the Airtel Money PIN to operator or provider support.
Is Tigo Pesa the same as Mixx by Yas?
The consumer fintech brand was rebranded to Mixx by Yas, while Bank of Tanzania reporting can still identify the licensed institution by the Tigo Pesa trading name. If an operator uses the old label, confirm the current network with official support before submitting.
Can I use HaloPesa for a 1Win withdrawal?
Only if HaloPesa is displayed in the account’s withdrawal cashier. HaloPesa’s statement and transaction-inquiry tools can help trace an operator-completed transfer, but they cannot trace a request that 1Win has not sent.
How long does a 1Win mobile-money withdrawal take?
There is no verified universal time for every Tanzania account and method. Save the estimate shown on the actual request. Operator review, payment-provider handoff and wallet credit are separate stages, so a wallet provider’s normal transfer time is not a promise of 1Win approval speed.
What are the minimum and maximum withdrawal amounts?
Read the figures displayed for the selected method immediately before submission. Limits can differ by account, method, verification tier and provider, and can change. This guide intentionally does not copy an unverified fixed number.
Why can I deposit with mobile money but not withdraw?
Deposit and payout routes can be different. Do not deposit again to activate a withdrawal. Ask official support which payout methods are enabled and whether account verification or payment ownership affects the menu.
What if 1Win says completed but M-Pesa has no money?
Ask 1Win for the external payout reference, provider, completion time, amount and destination’s last digits. Check the official M-Pesa statement, then give the reference to Vodacom support. Save both case numbers if the transfer cannot be located.
Should I pay tax before 1Win releases my withdrawal?
Do not send tax to an agent or private wallet. Tanzania’s gaming winnings tax is withheld by the licensed operator. Ask for the gross winning, statutory withholding and net payment in the official account record.
What should I do if support asks me to redeposit?
Do not redeposit to release, verify or trace an existing withdrawal. Request the demand and its legal basis in writing, preserve the evidence, and escalate through the operator’s formal complaint process and, when appropriate, the Gaming Board.
